Raw Organic Milk Thistle Seed Powder
Milk Thistle is a perennial plant which produces seeds that we have naturally extracted and gently ground to produce a fine powder. We take care to preserve the important photochemical, silymarin, which has been used for centuries by herbal practitioners to promote a healthy liver. The silymarin extracted from milk thistle is thought to have antioxidant properties that help fight free radicals. Milk Thistle powder is extremely versatile to use in a number of sweet and savoury recipes including pies, breads, salads, soups, fish and vegetable dishes. Easy to sprinkle onto your favourite foods including cereals, oatmeal, yoghurt and any vegetables or starches.
Benefits: Has been used as a detox support herb and thought to be a great superfood to support the liver.
